This lot features a regulation size baseball autographed by former Major League Baseball pitcher Jim Bouton. The signature is positioned on the sweet spot of the ball in blue ink and reads Jim Bouton. Bouton is primarily recognized for his tenure with the New York Yankees and as the author of the best-selling 1970 sports memoir Ball Four. The item has been authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) and includes a JSA Basic Certification card with a matching serial-numbered holographic sticker affixed to the baseball.
