This lot features a complete set of 1978 Topps Baseball trading cards, totaling 726 cards. Included in the set is the key Eddie Murray rookie card, number 36, which is identified by the Topps All-Star Rookie trophy on the front. The Eddie Murray card is protected within a clear plastic top-loader. The entire set is stored in a standard white cardboard trading card box. The top of the box lid has handwritten notations in blue ink that read 1978 Topps Baseball Set, NM, and inc- Murray Rookie. One side of the box is marked with 1978, TOPPS, and TB in black marker.
Condition report:
The cards are in raw, ungraded condition. The Eddie Murray rookie card appears to have sharp corners and edges, with the centering shifted toward the right border. The cardboard storage box shows typical handling wear and contains handwritten notations. The previous collector has designated the set as being in Near Mint condition.
