BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of 1991 Fleer Basketball Unopened Packs and Assorted Trading Cards Including Michael Jordan

This lot consists of a collection of early 1990s basketball trading cards and unopened material. The collection includes approximately 25 sealed 1991 Fleer Basketball wax packs. Each pack is designated as Player Photo Cards and contains 14 cards. The packaging features advertisements for the New Pro-Visions Sports Art Cards inserts.

Included in the lot are several individual highlight cards housed in protective plastic holders:
One 1991 Fleer Michael Jordan card number 211 from the All-Star Team subset.
One 1991 Fleer Michael Jordan Pro-Visions sports art insert card depicting the player in a space-themed illustration.
One 1991-92 Upper Deck Classic Confrontation card number 34 featuring Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan.

The lot also contains a stack of Action Packed Basketball Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary series cards. These cards feature a distinctive embossed, high-relief design with gold-colored borders. Visible players in this group include Oscar Robertson, Pete Maravich, and Connie Hawkins, along with coach Dean Smith.

Markings on the reverse of the individual cards include:
211 MICHAEL JORDAN, 1991 FLEER PHILA. 19141, PRINTED IN USA.
34 CLASSIC CONFRONTATION, 1991 THE UPPER DECK CO., PRINTED IN USA.
Action Packed cards bear the Basketball Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary logo.

Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Please reach out with any questions.

Condition report:

The 1991 Fleer wax packs remain factory sealed with some packs showing minor shelf wear and corner softening consistent with age. The individual Michael Jordan cards are protected in top loaders and sleeves; the Fleer number 211 exhibits a slight left-to-right centering bias, and the Upper Deck card shows minor softening at the corners. The Action Packed cards show visible edge chipping and whitening along the foil-coated borders, which is a common characteristic for this embossed set.
