BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of Eighteen Autographed Baseball Cards Including Willie Stargell and MLB Veterans

This lot features a collection of eighteen autographed baseball cards, including various Major League Baseball players and minor league prospects from the late 1970s to the early 1990s. The collection is highlighted by a 1981 Topps card of Hall of Famer Willie Stargell, signed in black ink. Other veterans in the group include Mitch Williams on a 1992 Donruss card, Sandy Alomar on a 1975 Topps design, Cesar Cedeno on a 1981 Topps design, and Rick Wise on a 1979 Topps design. Also included are autographed cards of Charles Nagy (1993 Topps Gold), Jim Beattie (1980 Topps design), Melido Perez (1993 Fleer Ultra), and Sixto Lezcano (1980 Topps design). A notable inclusion is a card from the Colorado Silver Bullets women’s professional team signed by Stacy Sunny. The group contains cards from manufacturers such as Topps, Fleer (ProCards and Ultra), Donruss, Score, and Classic Best. Additional signed cards feature Chris Nabholz, Mike LaValliere, Toby Borland, Greg Legg, Pat Combs, Don Sparks, David Tokheim, Gene Schall, and Kevin Jordan. All signatures are on the card fronts in black or blue ink.

Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Please reach out with any questions.

Condition report:

The cards generally appear in good to very good condition with typical edge and corner wear for their respective eras. Minor corner softening is noted on the Willie Stargell card. Signatures remain clear and bold. No third-party authentication is included; all signatures are sold as-is.
