This lot consists of two original, unopened boxed sets of Starting Lineup action figures produced by Kenner, a division of Hasbro Inc. This 1996 Edition commemorates the USA Men’s Olympic Basketball Team. Set One of Two contains five figures: John Stockton (number 12), Shaquille O’Neal (number 13), Scottie Pippen (number 8), Anfernee Hardaway (number 6), and David Robinson (number 7). Set Two of Two contains five figures: Grant Hill (number 5), Reggie Miller (number 10), Hakeem Olajuwon (number 15), Karl Malone (number 11), and Glenn Robinson (number 14). Both boxes indicate a team poster is included inside. The reverse of each box displays a group photograph of the team with facsimile (printed) signatures of the players; no hand-signed autographs are present. Official USA Basketball and Starting Lineup logos are prominently displayed. Copyright information on the back is dated 1996 Hasbro Inc., Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Original retail price stickers are present on the front of the boxes, including white labels for 29.97 dollars and orange clearance stickers marked reduced to 21.00 dollars.
Condition report:
The items are in their original window-box packaging. The cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear consistent with age, including blunting at the corners, light creasing, and minor edge wear. The clear plastic display windows show surface scuffing and minor indentations. The action figures remain factory-secured within their original internal plastic trays.
