BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of Four Baseball Card Factory Sets Including Fleer, Score, and Donruss, 1990-1992
This collection comprises four factory-sealed baseball card sets from the early 1990s. The assortment includes a 1990 Fleer Baseball Logo Stickers and Trading Cards set containing 672 player cards and 45 logo stickers. A 1990 Score Baseball Collector Set is included, containing 704 player cards and 56 Magic Motion trivia cards; this box features a Kirby Puckett card image on the exterior. Also present is a 1991 Donruss Baseball Puzzle and Cards Exclusive Hobby Dealer Set with 784 cards and two Willie Stargell Hall of Fame puzzles, with box graphics highlighting players Ryne Sandberg, Jose Canseco, and Barry Bonds. Completing the group is a 1992 Score Major League Baseball Collector Set containing 910 player cards and 17 bonus cards, which includes exclusive cards of Joe DiMaggio and Carl Yastrzemski. All sets are housed in their original brand-specific cardboard packaging with printed graphics and logos.
Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Condition report:
These are unopened factory sets. The exterior cardboard boxes show varying degrees of shelf wear, including corner blunting, surface scuffing, and minor edge wear consistent with age and storage. The 1990 Score yellow box has a notable area of tape residue and a small surface tear on one side. The 1990 Fleer box shows light surface scuffing and corner blunting. No professional grading is present. All items are sold as-is in their original factory boxes.
