BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Three 1985 Topps WWF Hulk Hogan Trading Cards Including #16 Rookie Card and Stickers #1 and #16

This lot features three original trading cards from the 1985 Topps World Wrestling Federation (WWF) series, all featuring the iconic wrestler Hulk Hogan. The selection includes the primary base card #16, widely recognized as Hogan’s rookie card from this inaugural WWF Topps set. The card front shows Hogan holding the championship belt against a vibrant green background with a yellow starburst nameplate and the WWF logo. The reverse side provides biographical data, including his weight of 302 pounds and Venice, California hometown, along with the World Wrestling Federation CHAMPION heading and 1985 Titan Sports, Inc. copyright.

Also included are two sticker inserts from the same 1985 set. Sticker #1 depicts Hogan in a yellow die-cut silhouette holding the championship belt. Sticker #16 features Hogan in a blue die-cut silhouette in a wrestling stance. Both stickers are set against a black background with horizontal red, white, and blue stripes. The backs of these stickers feature portions of a larger puzzle. All cards are printed on standard cardstock and are currently housed in clear plastic protective sleeves.

Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Please reach out with any questions.

Condition report:

The cards are in raw, ungraded condition. The #16 base card shows centering that is moderately off-center toward the bottom right. Corners across all three items appear sharp with minimal signs of wear visible through the sleeves. The glossy surfaces are well-preserved with vibrant colors and no apparent creases or surface scratches. Edges appear clean and uniform.
