This lot features three vintage trading cards from the 1960 Spins and Needles set produced by the Frank H. Fleer Corporation. This music-themed set showcases prominent entertainers and musicians of the era. All three cards have been professionally authenticated and encapsulated by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator). The trio includes Card #24 Sheb Wooley, graded PSA NM-MT+ 8.5 (Certification #10814362), depicting the singer and actor holding a cigarette; the card back references his song The Purple People Eater and his role in the television series Rawhide. Card #46 features the folk music duo Budd & Travis, graded PSA NM-MT 8 (Certification #08977065), shown with acoustic guitars. Card #79 features jazz and rock musician Big Al Sears, graded PSA NM-MT 8 (Certification #21189532), pictured with a saxophone. The card fronts utilize colorized photography with a distinctive yellow and orange inner border and a microphone-themed nameplate. The reverse of each card provides biographical details and stylized graphics of dancers.
