BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of Mid-20th Century Magazines, Signed Riders in the Sky Photograph, and CD Box Set (Signed)

A collection of mid-20th-century American periodicals, musical ephemera, and media. The group includes issues of The Saturday Evening Post published by Curtis Publishing Company, with covers featuring Dwight D. Eisenhower, a scene from the film The Greatest Story Ever Told, a Chicago crime scene, and George Washington at Valley Forge. Additional periodicals include a LIFE special issue from July 1969 titled Off to the Moon featuring Neil Armstrong; a 1967 copy of Twiggy: Her Mod Mod Teen World; an issue of Motor Trend showcasing 1963 model cars; a holiday issue of Better Homes and Gardens; and a mid-1940s issue of Popular Science featuring a P-38 Lightning aircraft. Accompanying the magazines is an 8×10-inch black and white promotional photograph of the musical group Riders in the Sky for Columbia Records. The photograph bears three ink signatures identified as Woody Paul, Too Slim, and Ranger Doug. Completing the lot is a 100 Country Greats 4-CD box set from Time Music International Limited. Several of the magazines retain original mailing labels addressed to a residence in York, Pennsylvania.

Photograph: 8 x 10 inches.

Condition report:

The items exhibit wear commensurate with age and handling, including creased covers, spine stress, surface scuffing, and small edge tears. Mailing labels are affixed to several of the magazine covers. Notably, the November 1975 issue of The Saturday Evening Post has extensive blue ink scribbling and marginalia across the front cover illustration. The signed photograph and CD box set are in stable condition.
