Description

BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! US 1988-1989 Golden Replicas of US Stamps Collection

A collection of Golden Replicas of United States Stamps issued by the Postal Commemorative Society, presented in a custom-designed brown leatherette binder with gold-foil stamped titles. The collection consists of philatelic covers from the late 1980s, including dates from 1988 and 1989. Each cover features a proof replica of a U.S. postage stamp struck in 22kt gold-plated foil, mounted alongside its corresponding original perforated postage stamp, primarily in the 25c denomination. Subjects represented in the collection include various statehood centennials and bicentennials, the American Sports series, the Black Heritage series, Antarctic Explorers, Steamboats, and Carousel Animals. Each cover is canceled with a circular date stamp and the First Day of Issue designation from the relevant post office. The collection is accompanied by descriptive informational fact cards for each issue and a certificate of membership.

Condition report:

The collection is in excellent, mint condition. The First Day Covers and replica stamps are well-preserved within clear archival-quality plastic sleeves. There is no evidence of toning, foxing, or creasing to the covers or stamps. The leatherette binder is in good condition with minimal shelf wear.
