BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Collection of 14 Bronze and Modern Age DC Comic Books Including Kobra Number 1

This collection consists of 14 raw comic books published by DC Comics, primarily featuring titles from the mid-1970s Bronze Age along with two Modern Age issues from the late 1980s. Included in the lot is Kobra number 1 (March 1976), a key issue featuring the first appearance and origin of Kobra (Lord Naga and Jeffrey Burr) with cover art by Ernie Chua. The set also contains Kobra numbers 2 (May 1976) and 3 (June 1976); Stalker number 4 (January 1976) with cover art signed by Wally Wood and Steve Ditko; Freedom Fighters numbers 2 (June 1976) and 3 (August 1976) with cover art by Ernie Chua; and The Sandman number 6 (January 1976), the final issue of the 1970s series with cover art by Jack Kirby and Mike Royer. Also present are two copies of Shazam! number 23 (Winter 1976), two copies of Plastic Man number 12 (May 1976), and one copy of Plastic Man number 13 (July 1976) with cover art by Ramona Fradon. The lot is completed by Plastic Man numbers 1 (November 1988) and 2 (December 1988) from the four-issue mini-series by Phil Foglio and Hilary Barta, which feature the DC Comics Aren’t Just For Kids! promotional tagline. Each comic is individually stored in a protective plastic bag with a backing board.

Condition report:

The comics are uncertified and generally range from Fine to Very Fine condition. Covers retain bright coloration with light shelf wear, minor spine stress marks, and some corner blunting. Spines appear intact with no visible splitting or cover detachment through the packaging. One copy of Shazam! number 23 shows more pronounced wear along the spine edge compared to the rest of the lot. Visible page edges appear off-white to white with no significant staining or foxing observed.
