A collection of approximately 16 Marvel comic books featuring Spider-Man, published between 1977 and 1993. The lot includes various issues from two major series: Marvel Tales Starring Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man Annual. The Marvel Tales issues include 81, 82, 83, 85, 89, 181, 185, 188, 189, 272, and 277. These issues serve as reprints for significant stories from early The Amazing Spider-Man comics, including issue 181 (reprinting ASM 1), 188 (reprinting ASM 2), 185 (reprinting ASM 6), 189 (reprinting ASM 15), and 83 (reprinting ASM 102). The Amazing Spider-Man Annual issues included are 15, 16, 19, 21, and 25. Key highlights of the collection include The Amazing Spider-Man Annual 16 (1982), featuring the first appearance and origin of Monica Rambeau as the new Captain Marvel; The Amazing Spider-Man Annual 21 (1987), featuring the wedding of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson; and The Amazing Spider-Man Annual 15 (1981), featuring Spider-Man vs. the Punisher with cover and interior art by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson. Later Marvel Tales issues like 272 and 277 feature cover art depicting Venom and Silver Sable, respectively.

Condition report:

The comic books are in ungraded, raw condition and are individually protected in bags with backing boards. The overall condition ranges from Fine to Very Fine. Older Bronze Age issues, such as the late 1970s Marvel Tales titles (81-89), exhibit minor signs of shelf wear including small spine ticks, slight corner blunting, and age-related page yellowing. Later issues, specifically The Amazing Spider-Man Annual 21 and 25, appear in superior condition with sharp corners and high cover gloss. All covers appear intact and firmly attached.
