This collection consists of approximately 16 vintage comic books spanning the Silver and Bronze Ages, published by Gold Key, Dell, Harvey, Archie, and Marvel. The lot features a diverse range of genres including science fiction, television tie-ins, and animated character adaptations.

Key issues included in this assortment are Richie Rich Cash number 1 (September 1974) and The New People number 1 (January 1970).

The Gold Key (Western Publishing) group includes: Magnus Robot Fighter 4000 A.D. number 16 (12 cent) and number 30 (15 cent) featuring a 16-page fun catalog; The Munsters number 11 (July 1965); Land of the Giants number 3 (March 1969); Turok, Son of Stone number 125 (July 1979); Walt Disney’s Comics and Stories number 358 (July 1970); Donald Duck number 137 (May 1971) featuring The Treasure of Hidden Glen; Tweety and Sylvester number 28 (August 1970); Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Dell Publishing is represented by The New People number 1 and Walt Disney’s Chip ‘n’ Dale (10 cent cover price).

Harvey Comics titles include Richie Rich Cash number 1 and Richie Rich the Poor Little Boy number 98 (October 1970).

The Archie Series is represented by Pep number 254 (June 1971), and the Marvel Comics Group is represented by Chili (Millie’s Red-Headed Pal) number 17 (October 1970).


Condition report:

The collection is in mixed raw condition, generally ranging from Good to Fine. Specific defects are noted for Pep number 254, which has a detached cover, and Tweety and Sylvester number 28, which shows significant paper loss and tearing at the top right corner of the front cover. Typical age-related wear is present throughout the lot, including spine stress lines, corner blunting, and edge creasing. Several issues are individually stored in protective plastic sleeves.
