BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of 14 Marvel Comic Books Featuring The Thing and Vision and Scarlet Witch

This lot comprises a collection of 14 vintage Marvel comic books from the Bronze and Copper Ages, specifically the late 1970s through the mid-1980s. The assortment is divided between the Marvel Two-In-One series featuring Ben Grimm (The Thing) and the 1985 Vision and the Scarlet Witch limited series. All comics are housed in individual protective plastic bags with backing boards.

The Marvel Two-In-One and The Thing group includes seven issues. Marvel Two-In-One number 46 (December 1978) features a team-up with the Incredible Hulk in a newsstand edition with cover art by Ron Wilson and Joe Sinnott. Marvel Two-In-One number 69 (November 1980) depicts the Thing and the Guardians of the Galaxy in a direct edition. Marvel Two-In-One number 87 (May 1982) features Ant-Man, and number 89 (July 1982) features the Human Torch, both in direct editions. The group contains two annuals: King-Size Annual number 3 (1978) featuring Nova (newsstand edition) and Annual number 7 (1982), which is a key issue marking the first appearance of The Champion of the Universe (Tryco Slatterus) in a direct edition. The Thing number 5 (November 1983) features She-Hulk in a newsstand edition.

The Vision and the Scarlet Witch group includes seven issues from the 1985 twelve-issue limited series. Included are issue number 3 (December 1985), number 5 (February 1986), and number 9 (June 1986), all in direct editions. There are two copies of issue number 10 (July 1986), featuring Quicksilver and the Inhumans, with one newsstand edition and one direct edition. Additionally, there are two copies of issue number 11 (August 1986) in direct editions, featuring Magneto and Spider-Man in his black symbiotic suit. Cover art for this series is primarily by Richard Howell.

Approximate dimensions per issue: 6.75 inches by 10.25 inches.

Condition report:

The comics are in raw, ungraded condition. They appear to be in mid-to-high grade, estimated between Fine/Very Fine and Near Mint based on visual inspection through the protective packaging. The covers exhibit bright colors and relatively crisp edges and corners. There are no signs of significant spine rolls, cover detachment, or heavy creasing visible. Internal page quality and color have not been inspected as the books remain bagged and boarded.
