This collection of four vintage Bronze Age comic books features the character Adam Warlock, published by Marvel Comics Group between 1973 and 1975. These staple-bound paper publications include two issues from the original run, The Power of… Warlock #7 and #8, and two issues from the subsequent relaunch, Warlock #9 and #10. The Power of… Warlock #7 (August 1973) features cover art by Jim Starlin depicting a battle against Doctor Doom and The Brute. The Power of… Warlock #8 (October 1973) concludes the initial run before a two-year hiatus with the Night of the Arch-Demon storyline. Warlock #9 (October 1975) marks the title’s relaunch with Jim Starlin as writer and artist, initiating the Magus Saga. It is labeled as a Premiere Issue. Warlock #10 (December 1975) is a significant key issue within the Jim Starlin run, featuring the confrontation between Thanos and the Magus. All covers are illustrated by Jim Starlin. Each comic is unslabbed and comes housed in a protective plastic bag with a backing board.
