A collection of nine (9) Bronze Age comic books published by DC Comics featuring Superman. This lot comprises eight unique issues and one duplicate. All comics are staple bound paper newsstand editions and are individually bagged and boarded. The collection includes: issue number 257 (October 1972) featuring There is Nobody in this Forest But Us! with cover art by Nick Cardy; issue number 258 (November 1972) featuring the Energy-Eater! with cover art by Nick Cardy; issue number 273 (March 1974) featuring Wizard with the Golden Eye with cover art by Nick Cardy; issue number 277 (July 1974) with The Amazing World of Superman banner and cover art by Nick Cardy; issue number 286 (April 1975) featuring the villain The Parasite with cover art by Nick Cardy; issue number 291 (September 1975) featuring The Time-Powered Peril! with cover art by Curt Swan and Bob Oksner; issue number 294 (December 1975) featuring The Private Life of Clark Kent with cover art by Curt Swan and Tex Blaisdell; and two copies of issue number 302 (August 1976) featuring Lex Luthor with cover art by Curt Swan and Bob Oksner.
Condition report:
The comic books are uncertified (raw) and appear to be in mid-to-high-grade condition, generally ranging from Fine to Very Fine. Visual inspection shows generally flat spines with some minor stress lines and color-breaking ticks. Covers retain good color strike and gloss. Minor edge wear and slight blunting to some corners are present. No major tears or cover detachments are visible through the protective packaging.
