This lot comprises a collection of 15 DC Comics titles featuring Batman, primarily from the Detective Comics series, spanning the Bronze, Copper, and Modern Ages from 1975 to 1995. The collection includes a range of issues with artwork by notable creators such as Norm Breyfogle, Alan Davis, Jerry Ordway, and Jim Aparo.
The inventory includes the following Detective Comics issues: #452 (October 1975) featuring Hawkman; #542 (September 1984); #573 (April 1987) featuring the Mad Hatter; #588 (July 1988); two copies of #590 (September 1988); two copies of #620 (August 1990); #631 (July 1991); #651 (October 1992); and #683 (March 1995). Condition report:
The comics are generally in mid to high grade condition, ranging approximately from Fine to Very Fine. Most issues exhibit flat covers and relatively sharp corners. Minor spine stress and shelf wear consistent with age are present on several issues. One comic is notably incomplete, missing its entire front cover as noted by an included insert. All items are raw and ungraded.
