BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of First Comics Comic Books Including Shatter Number 1 and Dreadstar

An assortment of approximately 60 to 100 comic books published primarily by First Comics during the mid-to-late 1980s. The collection features several runs and key issues, including Shatter number 1 (February 1985), which is recognized as the first computerized comic book with art by Mike Saenz. The lot includes a complete four-issue limited series of The Next Nexus (May to August 1989) by Mike Baron and Paul Smith, and a run of Jim Starlin’s Dreadstar comprising issues 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32. Additional titles include multiple issues of E-Man such as 13, 14, 15, and 16 by Joe Staton and Nicola Cuti, and First Adventures issues 1, 2, 3, and 4 featuring cover art by Barry Crain. Elflord is also visible within the group. The lot includes a standard white cardboard comic storage box containing several dozen additional uninventoried issues, likely from the same publisher and era. Many of the highlighted issues are stored in protective plastic bags with backing boards.

Condition report:

The comic books are in raw, ungraded condition, appearing to range from overall Good to Very Fine. Visible wear includes minor spine stress marks, small corner blunting, and some yellowing of the paper edges, particularly on the unbagged issues. No major structural defects such as detached covers or significant tears are immediately apparent.
