BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of 24 Marvel Conan the Barbarian Comic Books

This lot consists of 24 vintage Conan the Barbarian comic books published by Marvel Comics Group between December 1981 and November 1983. The collection features a near-sequential run from issue 129 through 152, including two copies of issue 139. Issue 136 is the only issue missing from this sequence. The group is comprised of both newsstand and direct market editions. The newsstand editions, identifiable by the UPC barcode on the lower front covers, include issues 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 137, 138, both copies of 139, and 142. The direct market editions, featuring a graphic or logo in place of the barcode, include issues 140, 141, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150, 151, and 152. The cover artwork for these issues is predominantly by artist Gil Kane, with Joe Rubinstein contributing to the cover of issue 129. Notable cover features include a promotional blurb for the Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends television premiere on issue 129 and contest banners for a Columbia Ten-Speed racer on issues 130 and 131. Each individual comic book is stored within a clear protective plastic sleeve.

Condition report:

The comics are presented in raw, ungraded condition. Overall, the collection appears to be in mid-to-high grade, approximately ranging from Very Good to Very Fine. Observable wear includes typical signs of shelf handling such as light spine stress marks with minor color breaking ticks, minor corner blunting, and light edge wear. Issue 130 displays some minor surface marking or residue near the top price box. The cover colors remain vibrant, and there are no signs of significant structural damage such as major tears or detachment.
