This set includes issue 138 (April 1988), the 2nd Annual Swimsuit Issue with cover art by Kent Nichols; Preview Special No. 5 (Summer 1987) featuring Arthur Adams cover art with The Flaming Carrot and Gumby; issue 122 (August 1, 1987) with cover art by Timothy Truman and John K. Snyder III featuring Prowler; issue 75 (July 15, 1985), a 100-page Summer Special featuring a Chris Claremont interview and mutant retrospective with cover art by Mayo; issue 74 (July 1, 1985) featuring The Futurians with cover art by Dave Cockrum; issue 73 (June 15, 1985) featuring the Past and Future Eternals with cover art by Sal Buscema and Al Williamson; issue 72 (June 1, 1985) featuring Steve Englehart, West Coast Avengers, and Vision and the Scarlet Witch with cover art by Richard Howell; issue 71 (May 15, 1985) featuring an Alan Moore interview with cover art by Stephen R. Condition report:
The nine issues are in ungraded condition, generally appearing in mid-to-high grade. Visible signs of age include minor spine stress, edge wear, slightly blunted corners, and light surface rubbing. Issue 75 shows some light toning to the white portions of the cover. No significant damage such as tears, detached covers, or heavy staining is noted.
