This is a collection of seven issues of Heavy Metal: The Illustrated Fantasy Magazine, published by HM Communications, Inc. and Metal Mammoth, Inc. The lot includes the following issues: December 1985, July 1989, May 1990, January 1991, November 1991, September 1992, and May 1996. The December 1985 issue features cover art by Richard Corben and is noted as the final issue before a shift in the publication schedule. The July 1989 issue features cover art by Rowena Morrill and include The Return of Dieter Lumpen. The May 1990 issue features cover art by Dorian Cleavenger. Condition report:
The magazines are in raw, ungraded condition. Overall condition ranges from Good to Very Fine. Spines show light to moderate stress lines with some minor color breaking. Covers show vibrant colors with minor surface scuffing and edge wear consistent with age. The December 1985 issue shows some blunting at the corners. Interiors were not inspected for completeness but show no outward signs of missing pages or damage.
