This lot consists of two vintage comic books from the 1980s published by Epic Comics, an imprint of Marvel Comics. The titles included are Coyote number 12, dated May 1985, and Coyote number 13, dated July 1985. Issue number 12 features cover art by Tom Truog and Zellinger and is notable for the first appearance of the character Scorpio Rose in a backup story. Issue number 13 features early cover work by artist Todd McFarlane, with his signature visible in the lower right of the inset character portrait, and contains the second appearance of Scorpio Rose.
