A trio of vintage DC Comics Blue Ribbon Digest titles featuring western-themed stories. This collection consists of Jonah Hex and Other Western Tales issues No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, published between 1979 and 1980. Issue No. 1 (October 1979) features cover art attributed to Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, signed JLG-L, depicting Jonah Hex in his Confederate uniform. Issue No. 2 (December 1979) features a yellow border with a lone rider in the rain, and Issue No. 3 (February 1980) shows a group of outlaws on a rocky outcrop; both are signed with the initials L D for artist Luis Dominguez. Each digest-sized volume contains 100 pages of illustrated stories. The covers include the original 95 cent retail price and the header 100 Pages of All-Out Western Action!!.
Condition report:
The comic books are in collectible, ungraded condition. All three issues show minor shelf wear, including light edge wear and small stress marks along the spines typical for the digest format. The covers remain securely attached and the colors are well-preserved.
