This lot consists of five individual issues from the Marvel Comics series The Spectacular Spider-Man, published between 1989 and 1994. All included issues feature cover art by Sal Buscema. The collection includes the following: Issue 156 (November 1989) featuring the character Banjo; Issue 157 (Mid-November 1989) featuring Electro as part of the Acts of Vengeance storyline; Issue 197 (February 1993) featuring a guest appearance by the X-Men (Beast, Cyclops, Archangel, and Iceman) with the Spider-Man 30th Anniversary logo; Issue 199 (April 1993) featuring the X-Men in the Fallen Heroes storyline with the 30 Years of X-Men logo; and Issue 210 (March 1994), a direct edition featuring the Foreigner and the first appearance of Deadaim. Each comic is a standard-sized modern era issue.
Condition report:
The comic books are presented as raw copies in protective plastic bags with backing boards. The issues appear to be in well-preserved condition with bright cover colors and generally sharp corners. Visible wear is minor and consistent with age, including small spine stress lines (ticks) and very light edge wear. They have not been professionally graded.
