A trio of vintage softbound, staple-stitched comic books with original 15 cent cover prices. This collection includes a Gold Key publication of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan of the Apes and two issues from the Classics Illustrated Junior series published by Famous Authors, Ltd.
Tarzan of the Apes No. 10012-904 (dated April), designated as a Collector’s Edition by Gold Key. This issue, identified in bibliographic records as number 191, includes the stories Tarzan the Invincible and Down Trails of Terror. The cover art depicts Tarzan wrestling a large feline. The back cover features a Make Money Get Prizes advertisement for the American Seed Co. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Classics Illustrated Junior No. 519, Paul Bunyan, published by Famous Authors, Ltd. of New York. The cover features Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. The back cover includes an illustration of the title character with a large dog.

The group is in used vintage condition with typical paper toning and shelf wear consistent with age. Paul Bunyan No. 519 shows significant creasing to the lower right corner and several creases along the spine. Tarzan of the Apes displays moderate spine stress lines and edge wear. The Golden Touch No. 534 exhibits cover creasing, spine wear, and small tears along the fore-edge.
