This is an autographed Sher-Wood P.M.P. 5030 left-hand hockey stick featuring signatures from members of the 2014-15 Washington Capitals NHL team, including Alexander Ovechkin The natural wood shaft displays the manufacturer mark SHER-WOOD in large black block letters, along with additional markings reading MADE IN CANADA, FAIT A LA MAIN PAR Drolet, and the model designation P.M.P. 5030. The blade of the stick is partially wrapped in black hockey tape. Six signatures are present on the blade: four written in silver fiber-tip marker on the taped section, and two written in black fiber-tip marker on the exposed natural wood section. According to the accompanying documentation, the signatures belong to Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby, Karl Alzner (with inscription #27), Jay Beagle (with inscription #83), Nate Schmidt (with inscription #88), and Justin Peters (with inscription #35). This lot includes a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA) under certification number ZZ44451, which features a matching certification label on the document.
Condition report:
The hockey stick is in excellent condition. The wood shaft and blade show minimal wear. All six signatures are crisp, clear, and highly legible with no signs of fading or smudging. The accompanying JSA Letter of Authenticity is preserved in a protective Ultra-Pro Platinum plastic sleeve and remains in excellent condition.
