BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of 12 Marvel Comics Featuring Black Panther and Jungle Action
This collection comprises 12 raw Marvel Comics publications featuring Black Panther, spanning the Bronze Age through the modern era. The group includes three issues of Jungle Action Featuring The Black Panther: number 7 (November 1973) featuring the first appearance of Venomm with art by Rich Buckler and Klaus Janson; number 15 (May 1975); and number 16 (July 1975) with cover art by Billy Graham. The collection features Black Panther number 2 (March 1977) written and illustrated by Jack Kirby, and Black Panther number 15 (May 1979) featuring the Avengers with art by Ed Hannigan and Joe Sinnott. Also included is Marvel Premiere Featuring Black Panther number 51 (December 1979) from the Deathquest story. The lot contains three issues from the 1988 limited series: number 1 (July 1988) and two copies of number 2 (August 1988), all with cover art by Denys Cowan. Modern editions include one copy of Black Panther Intergalactic number 1 Variant Edition (2021) and two different variant covers of Ultimate Black Panther number 1 (2024). The modern comics are stored in protective bags.
Condition report:
The comic books are in raw, ungraded condition. The Bronze Age issues from the 1970s generally range from Good to Fine, displaying wear such as spine ticks, minor creases, blunted corners, and edge wear. Jungle Action number 15 specifically shows a small chip missing from the top left spine area. The 1988 limited series issues show standard shelf wear. The modern variant editions from 2021 and 2024 appear to be in high-grade condition, likely Near Mint (NM). There are no professional grading slabs present in this lot.
