This collection includes seven individual issues of The Amazing Spider-Man published by the Marvel Comics Group during the 1970s. The assortment features various key Bronze Age storylines and appearances. Included in the lot are: Issue #117 (February 1973), featuring the Disruptor and the Youth for Raleigh campaign, notable as a UK price variant (6p); Issue #130 (March 1974), featuring Hammerhead and the first full appearance of the Spider-Mobile; Issue #131 (April 1974), featuring the attempted wedding of Aunt May and Doctor Octopus; Issue #132 (May 1974), featuring the Molten Man; Issue #133 (June 1974), featuring the Molten Man; Issue #160 (September 1976), featuring the Tinkerer and the return of the Spider-Mobile; and Issue #168 (May 1977), featuring the first appearance of Will-O-The-Wisp. The comic books are raw, ungraded copies. Issues #160 and #168 are housed in individual clear protective plastic sleeves with backing boards.
Condition report:
The collection consists of raw, ungraded copies showing signs of age and handling typical of the Bronze Age era. Issue #117 displays tanning and foxing along the top and right edges, with visible spine stress and corner wear. Issues #130, #131, #132, and #133 exhibit spine stress lines, minor corner blunting, and some color-breaking creases at the corners, particularly on #132. Issues #160 and #168 appear to be in mid-to-high grade condition based on a visual inspection through the protective sleeves, with relatively clean edges and minimal visible spine stress. Covers remain attached to the staples. Internal pages have not been inspected for completeness or potential defects.
