This lot features a Spalding brand Indoor/Outdoor model basketball autographed by NBA legend Robert Parish. The Hall of Fame center has signed the ball in black marker, including the inscription HOF 03 in reference to his 2003 induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The item is supported by dual authentication for the signature. A Beckett Authentication Services tamper-evident holographic sticker is affixed to the ball with the alphanumeric serial number BP55346. The basketball is also accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Schwartz Sports, Inc., stating the item was signed at a private signing. A matching Schwartz Sports holographic sticker is affixed to the ball near the NBA logo. The ball features standard Spalding branding, the NBA logo, and a facsimile signature of former commissioner David Stern.
Condition report:
The basketball and signature are in excellent condition. The autograph and the HOF 03 inscription are bold and clearly legible against the surface of the ball. The ball appears to be fully inflated with no visible scuffs, marks, or significant wear to the panels or the printed logos.
