This lot features a vintage Rawlings model RBG90 baseball glove hand-signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Dave Winfield. The glove is a Dave Winfield player model constructed from tan leather. It features a printed facsimile signature of Winfield in the palm. The authentic hand-signed signature is located on the outer thumb area, executed in blue ink. Stamped markings on the palm include the Rawlings brand logo, DEEP WELL POCKET, and Hinged Pad. The pinky finger is stamped with the model number RBG 90 and the slogan The Finest In The Field! The webbing contains the stamp Edge-U-Cated. This item is authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA) and is accompanied by a JSA Basic Certificate of Authenticity with certification number I 94826. A matching tamper-evident serial-numbered sticker is affixed to the pinky finger of the glove.
Condition report:
The glove shows moderate to heavy use and age-related wear, characterized by general scuffing, darkening, and discoloration to the leather surfaces. The leather remains supple and the lacing is intact. The blue ink signature is clear and highly legible.
