BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Collection of Autographed Boxing and Professional Wrestling Photographs with COAs
This lot consists of seven autographed 8 x 10 inch glossy photographs featuring notable figures from professional boxing and World Championship Wrestling. The boxing selections include a color photograph of trainer Angelo Dundee, signed in blue ink and inscribed To Andy Best Wishes Angelo Dundee; a black and white action photograph of former heavyweight champion Tim Witherspoon, signed in gold ink Harold Tim Witherspoon; two promotional photographs of middleweight contender Rocky Castellani, including one black and white print inscribed To Aimee your pal, Rocky Castellani and one sepia-toned print signed Rocky Castellani; and a sepia-toned photograph dual-signed by former middleweight champion Vito Antuofermo and an individual signed as Carmine the Kid. The professional wrestling selections feature two color photographs from the WCW nWo era, including Kevin Nash, signed in silver ink, and Lex Luger, signed with a stylized LL in silver ink. Authentication documents accompanying the lot include a Lifetime Certificate of Authenticity from Real McCoy 2 Collectibles for the Angelo Dundee photograph dated 8-16-2010, and two Certificates of Authenticity from Names of Fame, Inc. for the Kevin Nash and Lex Luger photographs. The Lex Luger certificate contains a clerical misspelling of the surname as Lugar. The lot also includes several handwritten dealer index cards and pricing notes.

Provenance / Authentication Note: This item originates from a single-owner collection assembled by a dedicated sports fan (with a strong focus on Notre Dame and New York Yankees memorabilia). The collector actively pursued autographs over many years through in-person events, including games, autograph shows, and visits to National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum during player events, as well as through direct mail requests to athletes and celebrities. The collection included supporting material such as handwritten correspondence sent to athletes (in some cases with payment enclosed), along with photographs of the collector with various signers. A portion of this same collection was featured in our March 21st auction, where multiple items were authenticated by James Spence Authentication (JSA). In regards to any items with signature(s): While this specific item(s) may not be individually submitted for third-party authentication, it originates from the same collection and shows consistency with previously authenticated pieces. As with many large autograph collections, there may be a small number of facsimile or clubhouse-style signatures present, but for the most part we have seen AUTHENTIC SIGNATURES within the collection. Based on the overall provenance and our review, we maintain a strong level of confidence in the authenticity of most items. Bidders are encouraged to review all photos carefully and bid according to their own level of comfort. No additional authentication documentation is included unless visible within the lot photos. Condition report:
The photographs are in good to very good condition with bold, legible signatures. Minor surface handling and light edge wear are visible on some prints. Accompanying certificates and ephemera show minor age-related toning and handling.
