This is an assortment of 11 vintage silver age comic books featuring Captain Savage, published by the Marvel Comics Group in the late 1960s. The collection includes issues from two iterations of the title: Capt. Savage and his Leatherneck Raiders (Issues 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) and Captain Savage and his Battlefield Raiders! (Issues 11, 13, 15, 16, and 19). The lot features the premiere issue, Capt. Savage and his Leatherneck Raiders number 1, dated January 1968, containing the story The Last Banzai!. Cover prices range from 12 cents to 15 cents. The series features artwork by Dick Ayers and Marie Severin. Issues 16 and 19 clearly display the vertical artist mark SEVERIN on the left side of the front cover illustrations. The books are presented in raw, unslabbed format.

The comic books are in raw condition and exhibit wear consistent with their age. Common defects include spine stress marks with color breaking, blunted corners, and minor edge wear. Issue number 19 shows a prominent diagonal crease in the upper left corner. Issue number 1 displays moderate spine ticking and light surface wear. All covers appear attached and intact.
