BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! This copy of The Amazing Spider-Man issue number 28 was published by Marvel Comics in September 1965. The cover features artwork of Spider-Man in a red and orange outline battling the Molten Man against a black background. Text on the cover highlights the first appearance of the Molten Man and notes the issue contains the story of Peter Parker’s graduation. The cover includes the Marvel Pop Art Productions logo, a 12-cent price point, and the Comics Code Authority seal. The reverse features a full-page color advertisement for Wallace Brown Christmas cards with a 1965 date.
Condition report:
The comic is in used condition with visible wear consistent with age and handling. The front cover exhibits significant creasing, including a prominent vertical crease along the right side and multiple diagonal creases. The spine shows numerous stress lines with color breaking and wear. Edges show rubbing and minor chipping, and corners are blunted and rounded. There is visible surface scuffing and color loss on the black portions of the cover. The back cover displays age-related tanning and light foxing.
