BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! A Group of The Human Fly Marvel Comic Books

This collection consists of an assortment of vintage comic books from the Marvel Comics Group series The Human Fly, published between 1977 and 1978. The series was inspired by the real-life stuntman Rick Rojatt. The lot contains several early issues from the short-lived 19-issue run, including issue number 2 from October 1977, which features a guest appearance by Ghost Rider and cover art by Carmine Infantino and Al Milgrom. Also included are two copies of issue number 4 from December 1977 featuring the story Crossfire with art by Sal Buscema and Terry Austin. Other issues present are number 5 from January 1978; number 8 from May 1978 and number 9 from July 1978, both featuring guest appearances by White Tiger and Copperhead. Issue number 9 features cover art by John Byrne and Terry Austin. Issue number 10 from August 1978 features a mining-themed cover. Issue number 14 from October 1978 features the story Fear Over Fifth with art by Bob Lubbers and Bob McLeod. These Bronze Age comics include work by several notable illustrators and are significant for their connection to real-world stunt performance history.

Condition report:

These are raw, ungraded comic books exhibiting typical signs of handling and storage. Common defects observed across the collection include spine stress marks with color breaks, minor blunting of the corners, and light creasing to the cover surfaces. Issue number 14 shows more significant wear along the spine edge compared to the other issues in the group. All covers remain attached to the staples and no major paper loss or significant moisture damage is observed on the exteriors. Potential bidders should review photos for individual issue condition.
