This collection comprises a significant quantity of vintage major league baseball trading cards spanning from the early 20th century through the late 1970s. The assortment features brands including Topps, Bowman, and Piedmont Cigarettes. A notable highlight is a c. 1909-1911 T205 White Border tobacco card of Robert (Bobby) Byrne with the Pittsburgh Nationals, featuring a Piedmont Cigarettes 400 Series back, Factory No. 25, 2nd District of Virginia. Also present is a 1949 Bowman Mike Tresh card No. 166 (Cleveland Indians). The bulk of the collection consists of Topps issues from the 1960s and 1970s, including years 1962, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1975, and 1978. Condition report:
All cards are in raw, ungraded condition with condition ranging from Poor to Excellent across the collection. The c. 1909-1911 T205 Byrne card exhibits heavy wear, rounded corners, surface soiling, a small tear at the top center of the reverse, and a handwritten ink notation 4 on the back. The 1949 Bowman Mike Tresh card is significantly off-center toward the bottom right with rounded corners and minor surface wear. The 1978 Topps No. 707 Paul Molitor rookie card appears in Good to Very Good condition with minor corner softness. The 1960s and 1970s bulk issues show varying degrees of handling wear, including soft corners and common centering issues for the era; those housed in protective sleeves generally show better edge and corner integrity compared to those stored loose.
