This lot consists of six vintage comic books published by Marvel Comics featuring the character Sleepwalker, dating from 1991 to 1993. The collection includes issue number 1 (June 1991), a key issue featuring the first appearance of Sleepwalker and Rick Sheridan, with cover art by Bret Blevins and the 50 Years of Captain America anniversary logo. Also present is issue number 3 (August 1991) with guest appearances by the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and Wolverine; two copies of issue number 8 (January 1992) featuring a battle with Deathlok; issue number 10 (March 1992), a newsstand edition featuring a UPC barcode on the front cover; and issue number 20 (January 1993) featuring the Amazing Spider-Man 30th Anniversary logo and cover art by Bob Krantz and Harry Candelario. Condition report:
The comics generally appear to be in mid-to-high grade condition, estimated between VF 8.0 and NM 9.4. Covers retain bright, vibrant colors and original gloss. Minor spine ticks and light stress marks are visible on some issues, most notably on the newsstand edition of issue number 10. Edges appear relatively sharp with no major blunting. No significant creasing, staining, or cover detachment is observed through the protective bags. Back covers appear clean through the boards.
