This collection of four Marvel Comics publications features the character Human Torch from several distinct eras. The lot includes two issues from the 1974 bronze age reprint series: Issue 3 (January 1975) and Issue 4 (March 1975). Issue 3 depicts a battle with Xemu, while Issue 4 features a confrontation with Paste Pot Pete and bears a promotional text box for the original Human Torch. Both issues from this era carry the Marvel Comics Group branding and a 25-cent cover price. Also present is Issue 3 of the 1990 four-issue limited series titled The Saga of the Original Human Torch, subtitled Hitler’s Horror!, which features cover art credited to Rich Buckler. The final item is Issue 4 from the 2003 Human Torch series, titled Burn! Part 4, with artwork by Karl Kesel, Skottie Young, and Ryun Seung. All items are stapled paper comic books housed in individual protective plastic bags.
