This lot consists of a large collection of vintage fast-food promotional toys and ephemera from Burger King Corporation and McDonald’s Corporation, primarily dating to the year 2000. A significant portion of the collection includes factory-sealed Mini Game Boy Collectibles from Burger King, issued in metallic gold and silver-colored polybags. These toys were produced for the promotion of the Pokemon Gold and Silver video games and feature printed marks including the Pokemon logo and manufacturer information: Made in China. Manufactured for Burger King Corporation. Included with these are two unbuilt cardboard Big Kids promotional crowns featuring graphics of the legendary Pokemon Lugia and Ho-Oh.
The McDonald’s items include multiple factory-sealed Happy Meal toys from Disney’s The Emperor’s New Groove, with character figures such as the Kronk Launch Toy, Yzma, and Kuzco as Llama. Three unbuilt, flattened cardboard Happy Meal boxes from this promotion are present, featuring Kuzco and Ronald McDonald. The lot also contains several unopened polybagged toys from the Disney/Pixar series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, featuring characters such as Mira Nova and Buzz Lightyear. Miscellaneous items include a loose red plastic Speed Racer car with speed racer and number 1 decals, and various other promotional polybagged toys including a Crash Bandicoot figure. The collection is constructed from molded plastic and printed cardboard.
Condition report:
The collection is in New Old Stock (NOS) condition. The majority of the toy figures remain in their original factory-sealed polybags. The cardboard promotional items, including the crowns and Happy Meal boxes, are in unbuilt, flat, and unused condition. All items are sold as-is.
