BID PER WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PHOTO, NOT THE AI GENERATED TITLES AND DESCRIPTIONS! Two Vintage Photographic Items Including a Kodak Duaflex II Flash Outfit and Pentax Zoom Lens

This lot features two vintage photographic items including a Kodak Duaflex II Flash Outfit and an SMC Pentax-M telephoto zoom lens.

The Kodak Duaflex II Flash Outfit is presented in its original yellow and black retail box. The camera is a medium format model designed for 620 roll film, featuring a black Bakelite-style plastic body with metal side panels and a fixed-focus Kodet lens. The faceplate is clearly marked Kodak Duaflex II Camera and Kodet Lens. Included in the set is a Kodak Flasholder with a polished aluminum reflector dish, eight General Electric SM Speed Midget flashbulbs, and an original instruction manual titled Flash pictures WITH YOUR Kodak Duaflex II CAMERA.

The second item is an SMC Pentax-M Zoom 1:4.5 80-200mm manual focus lens. Manufactured by Asahi Optical Co., this lens is compatible with the Pentax K-mount 35mm SLR system. The lens barrel is constructed of black metal with a textured rubberized focus and zoom grip. It features a constant maximum aperture of f/4.5 and a minimum aperture of f/32. The barrel displays a gold PASSED JMDC inspection sticker. The lens is accompanied by a cylindrical black faux-leather hard case with a red felt-lined interior and a metal latch.

Condition report:

The Kodak camera is in good cosmetic condition with minor surface wear and some oxidation visible on the four faceplate screws. The retail box shows typical shelf wear, including scuffing, edge abrasions, and some softening of the cardboard. The flashbulbs appear unused but are untested. The manual is intact with minor yellowing. The Pentax lens barrel is well-preserved, and the zoom and focus rings rotate smoothly. The front glass element appears clear of significant scratches or fungus. The lens carrying case shows heavy age-related deterioration, with extensive cracking and peeling of the exterior finish. The shutter and optical performance of these items have not been professionally tested.
