A collection of several dozen Marvel comic books primarily focused on the Fantastic Four franchise and Marvel cosmic characters. The group includes various titles from the Bronze Age through the Modern Age. Featured titles include Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, The Human Torch (1974 series), The Thing, Marvel Two-In-One, Marvel Team-Up, and several titles from the Ultimate Marvel imprint. Notable issues include Silver Surfer #1 (2014 Marvel Now! edition), Fantastic Four #350 (50th Anniversary issue), Marvel Two-In-One Annual #6 (First appearance of American Eagle), Marvel Team-Up #26 and #32, and Silver Surfer #107. The Ultimate Marvel selection features issues from Ultimate Extinction, The Ultimates 2, Ultimate Secret, and Ultimate Iron Man. Creative contributors represented in this collection include Dan Slott, Michael Allred, Al Ewing, Jim Lee, Mark Millar, Bryan Hitch, Warren Ellis, and Andy Kubert. One issue, Ultimate Iron Man #3, bears an ink signature on the front cover in the vicinity of the artist credit, appearing to be that of Andy Kubert. The comics are standard American format, printed on pulp and glossy paper with stapled pictorial wraps. Many issues are housed in individual protective plastic sleeves with cardboard backing boards.
Condition report:
Condition across the collection ranges from Good to Near Mint. Several issues are professionally bagged and boarded, appearing in high-grade condition with sharp corners and bright cover gloss. Older, unbagged issues from the 1970s and 1980s show typical signs of age, including light edge wear, minor spine stress marks, and slight corner blunting. Human Torch #5 and #6 show visible tanning to the cover margins. The signature on Ultimate Iron Man #3 is clear but has not been formally authenticated.
