This lot consists of an assortment of sports memorabilia and ephemera primarily focused on professional baseball, basketball, and hockey from the early 1990s. The collection includes four Upper Deck Limited Edition Commemorative Sheets: a 1992 USA Basketball Dream Team sheet numbered 20595 of 80,000; a 1993 Reggie Jackson Hall of Fame Induction sheet numbered 10195 of 51,600; a 1990-91 NHL All-Rookie Team sheet numbered 01106 of 16,000; and a 1993 Heroes of Baseball All-Star Game sheet with a silver limited edition seal. These sheets feature illustrations with the printed signature of artist Alan Studt. The lot also includes a variety of Beckett publications, featuring the February 1993 Issue 31 of Beckett Basketball Monthly with Michael Jordan on the cover, and approximately 10 to 12 issues of Beckett Baseball Card Monthly with covers depicting Randy Johnson, Tony Gwynn, Gary Sheffield, and Kirby Puckett. Additional items include a flattened 1991 Wheaties individual-sized cereal box featuring Michael Jordan, an Anaheim Angels Halo Heroes commemorative sheet for Ken Forsch, and a partial Topps Baseball Stickers album cover featuring Dwight Gooden.
Condition report:
The items are in varied vintage condition. Magazines and commemorative sheets show typical signs of shelf wear and handling, including edge wear, blunted corners, and minor creasing on the magazine covers. The individual-sized Wheaties box is flattened and exhibits tears on the opening flaps consistent with use and storage. Several of the commemorative sheets are preserved within plastic sleeves and appear in good condition relative to their age.
