Super rare item! How often does a printing plate come up for auction of a hall of famer. This is a newspaper printing plate with a photo. The plate was used to produced newspapers. The back of the plate indicates that the photo is of Rogers Hornsby on the back. of the plate. Though not the exact photo featured on the plate, the accompanying photograph of Hornsby in his later years is strikingly similar. So, we believe this is potentially a printing plate of Hornsby, but please look at the pictures carefully. All items are sold as is.
