Description
These were made by publishing companies contracted by Marvel to print their comic books. They were made to edit or review the page prior to running the presses. Normally, these copies are destroyed after publication, but sometimes they survive when a worker at the plant would take them home and collect them, for example. This particular proof has the word Sparta on it. Spartan Publishing, located in Sparta, Il, was one of the publishing companies DC used to print their comics. We also offer pick up and we offer a discount for cash payments. Please look at pictures carefully to determine what you believe are the condition of each lot. We offer in person or virtual previews and we can take additional pictures, or answer questions about any lot until about 24 hours prior to auction. All lots sold as is.
