Description
These were made by publishing companies contracted by Marvel to print their comic books. They were made to edit or review the page prior to running the presses. Normally, these copies are destroyed after publication, but sometimes they survive when a worker at the plant would take them home and collect them, for example. This particular proof is black and white and at the top is the name of the printing company, World Color Press. This company produced magazines and all-types of publications and were eventually bought out by Quad/Graphics.

Please look at pictures carefully to determine what you believe are the condition of each lot. We offer in person or virtual previews and we can take additional pictures, or answer questions about any lot until about 24 hours prior to auction. All lots sold as is. By choosing which card to use to register to bid, you authorize the auction host to charge the card on file at the end of the auction to pay for any lots and shipping you won.
