Description
This lot comprises a group of five items, including a 1964 Kentucky Fried Chicken Colonel Sanders Coloring Book, titled “KIDDIES …I HOPE YOU ENJOY MY FIRST COLORING BOOK.” The coloring book features a green and beige cover depicting a house and Colonel Harland Sanders, with a copyright date of 1964. Also included is an orange-toned “TWENTIETH CENTURY SONGSTER” music magazine/songbook, featuring “SONG HITS FROM STAGE – SCREEN & RADIO” with images of entertainers such as Jack Benny and Deanna Durbin. The lot further contains a “TIP-OFF” entertainment magazine, presented in red and black, with headlines like “THE PENTAGON’S HUSH-HUSH SIZZLER!” and “When BING CROSBY Did 30 Days in the CLINIC,” displaying multiple celebrity portraits. A “Silver Screen” magazine, September issue, priced at 15¢, featuring Paulette Goddard smoking on the cover and mentioning an article “This Guy Cary Grant By Ann Sheridan,” is also part of the group. The collection is completed by a small yellow paper tag with the handwritten number “10.” All periodicals are constructed from paper.

The items exhibit typical signs of age and use, including creasing, edge wear, discoloration, and minor tears, consistent with their apparent mid-20th century publication.
