Description
A group of six vintage American comic books from the Superboy (1949-1979 1st Series DC) run, published by DC Comics. Each comic features the prominent “SUPERBOY” title and a “12c” cover price, characteristic of the Silver Age period. They are made of printed paper and display classic mid-20th century superhero artwork, all bearing the “APPROVED BY THE COMICS CODE AUTHORITY” seal. Visible story titles across the collection include “The Atomic Superboy,” “The Fate of the Future Superman!”, “The War Between Superboy And Krypto!”, “SUPERBOY and his Five Fathers!”, and “The Wolf-Boy of Smallville!”. The reverse sides showcase contemporary advertisements for products such as “132 ROMAN SOLDIERS” and “100 Pc. Overall, the comic books appear in good to very good apparent condition for their age. They exhibit typical wear including minor creasing, edge wear, and some discoloration consistent with handled and stored items. Covers are generally intact with vibrant colors.
