Description
This lot comprises a group of four vintage American comic books. The group includes one issue of DC Special (1968) #4, May No. 4, titled “The Wild Frontier!”, which depicts a cowboy on a tiger-like creature. The remaining three issues are titled “Super Giant Top Guns of the West,” with two marked “OCT” and one “MAR,” featuring Western genre characters and storylines such as “Johnny Thunder,” “Red-Eye,” and “Black Star Gang.” All comics bear a 25-cent cover price, consistent with a late 1960s to early 1970s printing period. The reverse sides feature period advertisements for “Aurora” brand model racing sets, including “Hot Wheels Sizzlers” and a “Flashback” glow-in-the-dark set. A small paper tag with the handwritten number “161” is visible beneath the items.
Condition report:
Fair to Good condition. All items display wear consistent with age, including creasing, corner and edge wear, minor tears, and general paper discoloration and toning.
