A pair of 1975 ‘Weird Tales of the Macabre’ pulp magazines, printed on paper/cardstock, comprising Issue No. 1 (January) and Issue No. 2 (March). Issue No. 1 features a monstrous creature under a full moon, with the headline “HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU WERE REALLY SCARED?”. Issue No. 2 displays a dramatic witch-burning scene, signed “BORIS,” and prominently advertises “SIX ILLUSTRATED HORROR CLASSICS IN ALL!” alongside teasers such as “A WITCH-BURNING LEADS TO GHASTLY GOINGS-ON IN ‘STAFF OF DEATH’,” “VAMPIRE RATS,” and “VOODOO RITES!”. Both magazines are priced at 75 cents and share the identifying number “47945.”
