Description
A pair of vintage American comic magazines titled ‘The Six Million Dollar Man’. Published by Caroline, dated July 1976 and September 1976, each originally priced at $1.00 and sharing the GDC 80033 catalog number. The full-color illustrated covers feature the titular character Steve Austin in dynamic action poses, with the September 1976 issue also prominently featuring the Bionic Woman. Prominent cover text includes ‘Meet the Bionic Woman!’, ‘Full-Page Pin-Ups!’, and ‘What Makes Them “A Great Team!”‘. The reverse of both magazines contains an identical ‘Olympic Sales Club, Inc.’ advertisement, encouraging readers to ‘Earn Famous Prizes or Cash’ and featuring various product illustrations alongside a business reply mail form.
Condition report:
The items exhibit light handling wear and minor corner softening consistent with their age, but appear otherwise complete and largely unrestored.
