Description
A Silver Age American comic book, D.C. Comics’ ‘The Atom #2’, published August 1962. The comic is encapsulated within a CGC Universal Grade holder, displaying a grade of 4.5 with ‘Cream to Off-White Pages’. The CGC serial number is 4219825001. The colorful cover art depicts the superhero Atom in a bathtub, struggling amidst waves as a giant hand pulls the drain plug. Prominent text includes “NOW — IN HIS OWN MAGAZINE…” and “DISASTER STRIKES THE WORLD’S SMALLEST SUPER-HERO EVERY TIME HE MEETS… “THE ODDEST MAN ON EARTH!””. Further visible markings include the “Superman National DC Comics” logo, the “Approved by the Comics Code Authority” stamp, and creator credits for Gardner Fox (story) and Gil Kane & Murphy Anderson (cover and art).
